Although Flemish author, Peter Terrin, was awarded the European Union Literature Prize in 2010 for his book The Guardian, his major breakthrough for the wider public came in 2012, with the engaging Post Mortem; a flawless novel about the illusion of fiction. Acclaim for his work has spread far beyond the borders of the Low Countries, with his work being translated into English, Hebrew and Japanese plus another twelve languages.
