Pianist Matteo Myderwyk was fourteen when his music career was given its starting shot when a cheap keyboard caught his attention in a supermarket. He played on those keys for days, weeks, and months, until two years later he was admitted to the preparatory course of the conservatory. Perhaps his unlimited innovativeness, as heard on his debut album, To Move, is due to his late start with the piano. The acclaimed record came to be in two days: without a detailed plan, but with a great feeling for singing improvisations and melodies. Exactly how he likes to perform his live shows.
