French illustrator Blexbolex graduated from the École des Beaux Arts in Angoulême in 1984. His work was included in collections like Popo Color, Fusée, Ferraille and Comix 2000. In 2008, he won the Golden Letter for his book L’imagier des gens, a prize awarded yearly to the most beautiful book at the Buchmesse in Leipzig. He is renowned for his experimental style, for which he combines illustrations with printing techniques. His children’s book Romance was translated into many languages.
